Management Professor Alf Rehn is an internationally recognized business thinker, author and speaker who also currently  the Chair of Management and Organization at Åbo Akademi University in Finland.

Ranking high in The Times list of `Up and Coming business thinkers´; Alf Rehn gives his insights on how leadership is changing in the age of Digital Cowboys.

According to Rehn, what we are facing now is “ the radical reimagining of what leadership actually means and of what a leader actually looks like.´´ Contrary to Pekka’s point of view Rehn  claims that leaders can now emerge and lead from anywhere not just from the top or the frontlines. Temporary and peer leadership are challenging the hierarchical systems of the past ``You are a leader as long as somebody follows your hash tag´´

Rehn also discusses current trends as  being only the “ first Shivering Symptoms of a new kind of leadership´´ which will lead to something which is much more organic, fluid and possibly temporary.
